Transcendental Meditation for Enhancing Resilience and Reducing Stress and Burnout
In this presentation, Dr. Stuart Rothenberg, national director of the Transcendental Meditation Health Professionals Association, will discuss the impact of Transcendental Meditation (TM) for improving resilience and promoting mental and physical health. He will describe what TM is, the mechanics of how it works, and how it is applied to allow individuals to unfold their full potential for wellness and inner peace. Dr. Rothenberg will present the most recent research findings on TM from the “Heal the Healers Now” program, a nationwide initiative which has provided TM instruction in over 45 hospitals and medical centers to healthcare workers battling the Covid-19 pandemic.
Dr. Aaron Thompson - day 2
Building a Climate of Inclusiveness and Equity Through Innovative Leadership
This talk centers on the richness of education as a whole and it’s service to all of society and not just the students they serve. However, students is where you start. Moving the paradigm from a teaching one to a learning one takes innovative leadership. Innovative leadership in the 21st century means a heavy focus on deep learning, inclusiveness, and equity is the trifecta of actionable metrics. Dr. Thompson will take you through an engaged process of understanding yourself as a culturally competent leader and how you can assist those you serve to do the same.
